A dreamy summer afternoon at Bar Beach was the perfect setting for Liz & Hugh's pre-wedding photos.
Newcastle has so much variety when it comes to photoshoot locations, but the beaches are a favourite for good reason.
The misty afternoon glow of the light is just such a timeless look, and enhances the cinematic vibe.
Liz + Hugh are getting married on a private property later in the year, surrounded by rolling hills and green farmland, so they opted for a beach setting to get some visual variety in their engagement photos.
As the sunset changed throughout the afternoon, we were able to get a great variety of different lighting conditions. Choosing a time around golden hour mimics the light during the portrait session on the wedding day.
This means you can feel confident in the look that your wedding images will have, staying focused on the moment and enjoying the day.
